Sérgio Cosme

Sérgio Cosme was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1979. As a lover of speed, he soon developed his abilities and skills in motor sports, but the sea was his greatest inspiration. Back then, he moved to Santa Cruz and started to enjoy the surf experience in a daily basis. From there, he traveled all over the world searching for perfect waves, dropping white snow covered mountains and competing in off-road races. Praia do Norte gave him the possibility of catching giant waves and riding jet skis, the perfect combination that, every winter, motivated him to devote himself by heart and soul to this sublime experience. He has learned a lot and shared unforgettable moments with the amazing surf community in Nazaré, where he also lives a significant part of the year. Sérgio believes in sustainability, individual and collective respect and awareness, of our attitudes and actions on this planet, as in the human values that help us to build a better world.
